Bonus Burger is on 50th Street, just east of University. 50th Street is the southern edge of burger stand habitat. South of 50th, the town gets newer, and mom-and-pop burger joints give way to the national chains. The Bonus Burger building sat empty for a long time. I dreamed of buying the place and turning it into a record store or a coffee shop or something. But now it's a burger joint again, and maybe that's better.
